VONVIX PROCUREMENT GUIDE

Car Vacuum Cleaner OEM Cost Breakdown: Product, Packaging, Battery and Shipping

The lowest unit quote is not always the lowest sellable cost. A reliable OEM comparison separates the vacuum cleaner, battery, accessories, branding, retail packaging, master carton, quality control and freight—then confirms that every supplier is quoting the same approved configuration.

QUICK ANSWER

What buyers should know

Calculate landed cost per sellable unit as: product and battery cost + accessories + customization and setup amortization + retail and export packaging + inspection + China-side logistics and export charges + international freight and insurance + destination duty, tax and handling + a warranty reserve. Ask every supplier to quote the same model, battery, accessory list, packaging specification, quantity, Incoterm and destination.

01Fix the exact vacuum model, functions and confirmed suction test conditions
02Match battery voltage, cell count, capacity, charger and transport documents
03List every nozzle, filter, hose, bag, cable and spare component
04Separate standard product, logo, color and packaging charges
05Confirm unit size, net weight, pieces per carton, carton size and gross weight
06Compare quotations under the same Incoterm and destination postal code
07Reserve for inspection, replacements, duty, tax and destination handling

Use the supporting evidence

A cost comparison is only useful when the quoted product, approved sample, test evidence and compliance scope describe the same configuration.

Start with one comparable cost formula

A useful quotation is not a single unit price. It is a controlled bill of costs for one approved sellable configuration. If one supplier includes a three-cell battery, full accessory kit and printed color box while another quotes a bare tool, the lower number does not represent the same product.

For internal comparison, calculate landed cost per sellable unit: EXW or FOB product cost + customization and packaging + inspection and origin charges + international freight and insurance + destination duty, tax and handling + expected warranty allowance. Record the currency, Incoterm, destination and quotation validity beside every result.

  • Product and battery
  • Accessory kit
  • Branding and packaging
  • QC and origin handling
  • Freight and insurance
  • Duty, tax and destination fees
  • Warranty reserve

Product configuration sets the base cost

The motor, housing, control board, filtration, dust cup, display and included functions form the base product cost. Vacuum-only and vacuum-plus-air-duster configurations should not be compared as if they are identical.

For the current VONVIX reference configuration, buyers may review an 11.1V platform, three 2000mAh cells, Type-C charging, 100W rated power and product dimensions around 23.1 × 20.5 × 7.3 cm. These details remain model-specific and must be confirmed on the quotation and approved sample.

Suction claims also affect positioning but should not be priced from the headline number alone. Confirm the test instrument, mode, nozzle or sealed test condition and repeatability. VONVIX currently references 6kPa low, 12kPa medium and 16kPa high for the applicable tested configuration.

Battery cost includes more than capacity

Battery cost changes with cell count, cell source, rated capacity, protection board, pack assembly, connector, charger and required documentation. A label stating 6000mAh may describe three 2000mAh cells in series; it should not be interpreted as a 6000mAh pack capacity without checking the electrical configuration.

For shipping, match the exact cell or battery pack to the available specification sheet, MSDS and UN38.3-related transport documentation. A document for a different cell, voltage or pack configuration may not support the shipment.

  • Cell count and capacity
  • Pack voltage and protection
  • Charging cable or adapter
  • Battery label consistency
  • MSDS and transport document match

Accessories change both product value and packing cost

Crevice tools, brushes, inflation nozzles, hoses, spare filters, storage bags and adapters can materially change cost, box size and buyer perception. Put the full accessory list into the quotation instead of accepting a phrase such as standard accessories.

Approve a numbered accessory-layout photo with the sample. The same count and tool shapes should be checked again during pre-shipment inspection.

OEM packaging has fixed and variable costs

Logo application, label files, manuals, color boxes, inserts and master-carton marks may create artwork, plate, printing or setup costs. These fixed charges should be separated and divided by the order quantity so buyers can see their cost per unit.

A current reference packing format for applicable VONVIX vacuum models is 20 pieces per carton, approximately 48 × 42 × 39 cm and about 14–15 kg gross weight. The final carton must be recalculated after the battery, accessory kit and retail package are approved.

Available stock samples can start from 5 units. Custom-logo programs generally start from 100 units. Stock samples can normally ship within 2 days, logo samples take about 2–5 days, and bulk production is typically 10–25 days after approval, subject to the configuration and order schedule.

Shipping must use final packed data

International freight is calculated from chargeable weight, route, transport mode, dangerous-goods requirements and destination—not only the product net weight. Air and courier shipments often use the higher of actual and volumetric weight, while sea shipments depend on volume and shipment terms.

Ask for a quotation under a named Incoterm such as EXW, FOB, CIF or DDP and provide the destination country and postal code. Confirm which party pays China-side pickup, export handling, freight, insurance, duty, tax and final delivery.

Protect margin with approval and quality-control costs

A sample fee, third-party inspection or pre-shipment check may look like an extra cost, but it protects against a much larger mismatch in batteries, accessories, artwork or packaging. VONVIX charges custom samples according to the requested work; agreed sample fees may be returned against the bulk order.

Keep a warranty or replacement allowance in the landed-cost model. The appropriate percentage depends on the product, channel, destination and verified defect history, so it should be based on real order data rather than a generic promise.

Send a complete brief to receive a comparable quotation

Provide the product or reference photo, expected quantity, destination country and postal code, battery requirement, accessory list, logo method, packaging, certification needs and preferred Incoterm. State whether the quotation is for a stock sample, branded sample or bulk order.

VONVIX can then confirm the applicable model, sample plan, packaging assumptions, document scope and shipping information before presenting a commercial quotation.

Procurement FAQ

What is the MOQ for a VONVIX car vacuum cleaner?

Available stock can start from 5 units. Custom-logo programs generally start from 100 units, while packaging, color or configuration changes may require a different MOQ.

How much does an OEM car vacuum cleaner cost?

There is no reliable universal price. Cost depends on the exact model, battery, accessories, logo, retail packaging, order quantity, Incoterm and destination. Compare suppliers using one controlled specification.

Are sample fees refundable?

Stock samples are charged according to the product and delivery requirement. Custom sample fees depend on the requested work and may be returned against the bulk order when agreed in the quotation.

How long do samples and bulk production take?

Stock samples can normally ship within 2 days, logo samples take about 2–5 days, and bulk production is typically 10–25 days after approval, subject to configuration and production scheduling.

Which battery documents should buyers request?

Ask VONVIX to match the battery specification, MSDS and available transport documentation to the exact cell or pack model, voltage, capacity, destination and transport method.

What information is needed for a freight estimate?

Provide the final quantity, destination country and postal code, preferred shipping method and Incoterm. Freight should use the approved packed unit and master-carton dimensions and weight.
